Created by New York City galleries Elizabeth Dee, X Initiative Occupied the then vacant DIA Center space in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC. X Initiative was a not-for-profit organization, gallery and exhibition space that was set to exist for exactly one year and present exhibitions in four phases.
