The Bureau of General Services—Queer Division is an independent, all-volunteer queer cultural center, bookstore, and event space hosted by The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City.

 

The branding concept was to adhere to the institutional aesthetic of the very "official" sounding (tongue-firmly-planted-in-cheek) name with an obvious acknowledgement to the bookstore's true mission of serving the LGBTQ community.
